CODE @ TACC PARTICIPANTS WILL:
· Use a project based-learning approach to foster creativity and problem solving skills
· Participate in team-building exercises that will prepare them for the workplace of the future
· Use hands on technology to learn the basics of networking, physical interfacing and electronics
· Explore and solve life science and bioinformatics problems
· Design, create and program their own robot
· Participate in field trips to local tech corporations
· Get a private tour of TACC's visualization laboratory and data center, which houses the 7th most powerful supercomputer in the world
· Interact with TACC's cutting edge technology systems
· Collaborate with college students, engineers and scientists
