Explore UT March 7

Explore UT –an academic wonderland!

Bring students to Explore UT, the annual open house at the University of Texas at Austin, to take part in science and engineering experiments, plus art, history, communication, business, law, and other activities –nearly 400 in all--and expand their horizons about college and careers.

Explore UT happens on Saturday, March 7, 11 am to 5 pm. The event is FREE and open to everyone. Activities are designed for all students K-12, including Gifted and Talented, STEM, AVID, and CIS. No registration for individuals. Just go to the activities of your choice.

There's Still Time to Plan a Field Trip

Bus registration has started. Register your bus online at the Explore UT website, https://exploreut.utexas.edu, at the K-12 Connections tab. Remember that the University does not provide buses. Your school district or organization must arrange its own transportation.

Arrangements for lunch in University dining halls will end when capacity is reached, or on Feb. 25. Cost is $5.75 per person. To buy lunch tickets, click on Group Lunch under the K-12 Connections tab of the Explore UT website.

Teachers and families are welcome to come on their own. Free Professional Development Credit is available for selected activities.
